John
Jenkins.

BIOGRAPHY

john jenkins is a houston-based artist working in painting and installation.

his work is driven by a fascination with things that shape human experience but remain largely invisible—mythology, weather, belief, memory, technology, and the symbolic systems people create to explain the world around them.

through painting, objects, and immersive environments, jenkins gives form to these unseen forces, creating spaces that invite reflection, curiosity, and participation.

across his work, recurring themes of atmosphere, ritual, transformation, and perception serve as a framework for exploring the relationship between the visible world and the systems that exist beneath it.
